Nature and culture in and around Granada

Granada Trekking Torus is a one- person enterprise. Wolfgang Kloss, born 1944, did his studies in painting and the history of art, and worked more than 30 years as a lecturer of arts. He lives in the village of Fornes / Granada, near the "Embalse de los Bermejales", one of the cleanest reservoirs in southern spain, He speaks English an Spanish fluently.

About the tours: of course everybody can go hiking by himself, but you hear about people getting lost. The hardest case I saw personally was of 3 students from Goerlitz / Germany: 3 days, the last day without water, too much adventure for my taste. So I occupied myself for more than two years with exploring and working out circuits, picking the most intersting countryside, almost always on horseback. Now I can offer about 10 tours from 3 hours to 2 days, almost all of them inside the very beautyful natural reserve. Recently I am very interested in the "revival" of historical ways, such as the mule- trail from Nerja to Granada (they carried fish !!) .

I am often asked if I can offer tours on horseback
